The National Equalities in Mental Health Programme seeks to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for people with mental health issues.

It is a major workstream within the National Mental Health Development Unit.

 Improving in-patient mental health services for Black     and minority ethnic patients , published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists today.  The report summarises the recommendations of an expert advisory panel and will directly inform the acute inpatient care standards currently being developed by the College's Centre for Quality Improvement.
